Duzhe Wang

I am a data scientist at Google and I work on digital advertising. Before joining Google, I was a senior data scientist at Scipher Medicine to support clinical utility evidence generation for its precision medicine diagnostic tests, and a research scientist in the Statistics, Data, and Analytics function at Eli Lilly and Company to support post-regulatory evidence generation for its immunology and diabetes portfolio. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Statistics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison under the supervision of Professor Po-Ling Loh. My dissertation is on efficient statistical learning of complex data. My current research interests include machine learning, causal inference, different types of experimental design (e.g., online controlled experiments, RCT, observational study), and their applications in real-world problems from technology and healthcare industries.

Before joining UW-Madison, I received my BS in mathematics from Jilin University in 2013 and my MS in mathematics from the University of Florida in 2015.
