Duzhe Wang

I am a research scientist on the Real World and Access Analytics team in the Statistics, Data, and Analytics division at Eli Lilly and Company. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Statistics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison under the supervision of Professor Po-Ling Loh. My dissertation is on efficient statistical learning of complex data. My research interests span the areas of statistical machine learning, high-dimensional statistics, robust statistics, optimization, and causal inference. I broadly focus on challenges which are motivated by problems in medicine, finance, genomics, and network science. Currently, I have a strong interest in statistics and machine learning applications to RWD and RWE in drug development and evaluation.

Before joining UW-Madison, I received my BS in mathematics from Jilin University in 2013 and my MS in mathematics from the University of Florida in 2015.
